We spoke to Ruth who told us the brief she had set for her designer; “Timeless design and colour, shaker style, island with a breakfast area, family friendly and easy to maintain” Ruth said. She continued to highlight her favourite parts of the kitchen which were “The island and seating area in the kitchen and the boot room feel of the utility room.”
Ruth and her family are thrilled with their new kitchen and our service. She said “Alice was on board with our ideas and made great suggestions about small details and changes which would improve the design.”

16. Shaker kitchen with bold kitchen island designed from our Esher kitchen showroom
When asked about her kitchen, Nicola explained; “I know there’s a great place for whites and if you don’t have a lot of space lighter colours are great but I like colour. The house we’re in – bits of the original were built in 1872 so a really modern white or grey kitchen wouldn’t have worked with the house.”
Nicola was delighted when she discovered our Claret finish matched a paint colour she had previously used in other rooms in her home, so she used it upon the kitchen island and mantle.
17. Pet-friendly shaker kitchen designed from our Cardiff Colchester Avenue showroom
When Alice designed this shaker kitchen, she cleverly designed a safe area for the dog to be whilst the owners cooked.
