Judith's botanical brown and pink kitchen

Published on 26 Apr 2022

Can’t decide between a pink kitchen and a brown kitchen? Let Judith’s unique kitchen show you how to use both.

After years of putting off reconstruction work on their Surrey home, it was finally time for the Pearman family to revamp their kitchen.

Several of Judith’s friends had kitchens designed and installed by our team in Esher. Impressed with the style and quality, Judith knew she’d enlist the help of Sigma 3 when the time came to complete her kitchen renovation.

When the time was right, the family took a trip to our Esher showroom. Judith’s original vision was a simple grey kitchen. However, when she saw our pink kitchen and brown kitchen displays in the showroom, Judith changed her mind completely.

What was the brief?

The main goal was to create a practical modern kitchen that the whole family could enjoy.

When browsing for inspiration, Judith stumbled upon jungle-inspired pink wallpaper and was adamant she had to find a way to use it in the design.

The design process

Kitchen designer Oliver presented the Pearman family a selection of finishes, storage features and door designs. It was decided our beautifully versatile, easy-to-clean Sutton range was the perfect choice for their busy family.

When Judith saw our pink kitchen finish, Autumn Blush, she knew she had to have it. This delicate pink kitchen finish colour perfectly the wallpaper sample Judith had brought with her to the showroom. The family also loved our brown kitchen finish, Burnt Umber, and decided to use this warming colour for the kitchen island and base cabinets.

The outcome

Judith expressed that the new kitchen is a dream come true for the family.

The kitchen island complements family life, allowing the children to sit opposite their parents as they cook. Behind each door lies unique storage features that work in harmony with the family's busy lifestyle.

We love how Judith has but her own stamp on her brown and pink kitchen. The space is filled with quirky ornaments, features and plants - and it looks fantastic!
